WEDC Mentor Match Program
Have experience to share? Looking for guidance?
Whether you've built a business and want to give back, or you're building one now and could use someone in your corner, WEDC's Mentor Match Program is here to connect you. Mentors offer real-world guidance based on experience. Mentees get a trusted person to think through challenges with, ask questions, and move forward with more confidence.
What is a Mentor?
A mentor is a person with professional and life experience that voluntarily agrees to help a mentee develop skills and competencies that aid in goal achievement. A mentor is an advisor and role model who is willing to invest in the mentee’s personal growth and professional development. By submitting an application to serve as a mentor, the applicant expressly agrees not to solicit, promote, offer for sale, or otherwise engage in commercial transactions relating to any products or services with the assigned mentee during the mentorship period. By filling out this form you are accepting these conditions.
What is a Mentee
A mentee is someone who has identified specific personal or professional goals and who believes that the guidance and help of a mentor – and being held accountable by the mentor – can help them achieve those goals. The role of a mentee is to also be responsible and accountable for their own success.
