Participants must attend all three sessions of this workshop:
Brand Consistency, Visibility & Marketing Strategy – Monday, January 11, 2021
The first online session will address brand consistency, brand visibility, and marketing strategy (including budget). Participants will be assigned a partner for an asynchronous learning activity. They will receive a list of “yes/no” questions and perform a preliminary scan on their partner’s web presence (website, social media, LinkedIn, Google, Yelp). Through these questions, they will provide constructive feedback on their partner’s brand consistency and visibility.
Marketing Implementation – Monday, January 18, 2021
The second online session will address traditional marketing approaches, email marketing, organic social media and digital advertising with social media and Google ads. Participants will reconvene with their partners to discuss & synthesize the feedback they received from the questionnaire. Before the third session, they will use this feedback for an asynchronous activity: to assess their existing marketing strategy and make a list of actionable tasks to boost brand visibility in the next 6 months.
Website Updates & Web Analytics – Monday, January 25, 2021
The third online session will address website updates (content, landing pages) and web analytics. Participants will work in groups to present their current marketing strategies & actionable task list. They will provide and receive feedback on these strategies. This workshop will conclude with two asynchronous activities. Using the information presented in the seminars, feedback from groups, and their actionable task list, participants will complete a 6-month mini marketing plan handout.
