Join WEDC and Co-op Hudson Valley for an interactive online session exploring Worker Owned Businesses (Worker Cooperatives). In this introductory level workshop participants will learn about what a co-op is, how the model is similar to and different from traditional businesses, how worker owned cooperatives are structured, and how profits are shared.
Together we will also work through a Steps to Startup tool to help participants understand what starting a co-op looks like, and explore resources to support them on their journey.
