Dr. Precious Sellars-Mulhern, PhD, Retired Associate Professor, Department of Student Life/Counseling, Borough of Manhattan Community College [BMCC], The City University of New York [CUNY], earned a BA in Behavioral Sciences from Atlantic Union College; MEd in Counseling Psychology from Teacher’s College – Columbia University; PhD in Personality and Social Psychology from New York University. She is a licensed Counseling Psychologist in New York State. Precious served as a member of the counseling faculty at BMCC from 1994 to 2022. She is a cognitive-behavioral therapist and “Precious Possibilities Coach” who assists clients in connecting with their inner resources to make changes in their outer world.
Precious was introduced to meditation in June 1984 in a training program that was then called The Silva Mind Control Method. She continued to explore many different paths in search of enlightenment and personal growth – Siddha Yoga, Tony Robbins NLP, HeartMath, Law of Attraction, Jack Canfield’s Success Principles, to name a few. She practices strategies from many different disciplines to help her transcend self-imposed limitations to create the life of her dreams which also includes teaching others how to embrace their personal power and create the life of their dreams.
