The vast majority of newly formed businesses as well as newly conceived products and services fail to gain traction. So many businesses fail and so many new products die on the “store shelf,” or even worse never make it to the shelf. Why is that?
Successful Entrepreneurs all agree: Knowing your customer is KEY! Knowing and understanding your customer involves way more than pigeonholing them by gender, age, ethnicity, and other conventionally utilized metrics. You need to understand your customer and the journey they’re on; when your product or service might help them.
Ossining Innovates! newest bootcamp will coach entrepreneurs and hopefuls in a process of observing and talking to people to get real reliable information.
This bootcamp will help you identify, validate, and connect with your target customers, to help you create solutions your customers actually CARE about. Applying these skills will provide you with information to test your business ideas, to make adjustments early in the process, to reduce the risk of spending time and money on an idea that might have been doomed from the start. In simple terms, applying these skills when your starting your business as well as when you’re running a growing or mature business, will eliminate or significantly reduce the role of “luck” in your business planning. A customer who cares about your business is a customer who tell friends and family about your business, who will more likely be loyal to your business and who will be invested in the success and growth of your business.
Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis and the first bootcamp launches September 12 via zoom. Register here today!
Classes are held via zoom on Tuesdays from 6:30pm to 8pm and Thursdays from 6pm to 9pm, with a few potential in person sessions to practice new skills.
