Who is the EGL designed for? The EGL is designed for those who have a business idea, some experience in the field, or have started a business.
What can I expect at the end of the EGL? Upon completion of this program, you will finish with a Business Model Canvas, Executive Summary, Financial Projections and a Pitch Deck. The program culminates in a pitch contest with cash prizes!
What will be covered in the EGL? WEDC's expert trainers will assist you with navigating all aspects of starting, running and sustaining your business. We will guide you through creating your roadmap for success using the Business Model Canvas.
Course Sessions and One-on-One Advising Sessions Include:
- Business Model Canvas: Conduct customer discovery and ensure your product/service fits the market needs
- Crafting Success: Create a customer profile and conduct competitive analysis for unstoppable growth
- Digital Dominance: Learn the latest social media strategies
- Pitch Perfect: Craft your executive summary and master the art of impactful pitches
- Business Basics: Explore forms of business ownership and crafting your operating budget
- Financial Management Skills: Learn budgeting, record-keeping and financial statements

What is the Business Model Canvas? The Business Model Canvas (BMC) is a one-page business roadmap used to visualize all the building blocks when you need to start or grow a business, including customers, route to market, value proposition and financials.

WEDC has two locations in Westchester County and the Mid-Hudson Valley. Choose from the locations below to see the course schedules and which works best for you. Courses also offered in Espanol.
Classes Start September 10, 2024
Entrepreneur Growth Lab
Sessions are held primarily on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 9pm.
There will be one Monday session held on November 25th from 6 to 9pm.
There is a Success Coaching Saturday on September 14th: 10:30am - 3:30pm & some Saturday morning Open Office Hours will be scheduled.
The registration fee is $200.
The majority of the sessions are in-person with a few remote sessions on Zoom.
